Welcome to music theory boot camp! The purpose of this "core curriculum" is to provide the bare minimum requirements of music theory to allow you to read sheet music. All of these concepts will be put into practical application as you are learning concert literature, but you will use them while you are working on sight reading and rhythm counting as well.
